When he joined our VOWR family in 2018, Evan Barrett was one of the youngest volunteers in the station’s history. Today, he is a vital component to the future of Wesley radio and his contributions to the station and its volunteers are immeasurable. Evan is a computer specialist and an accomplished musician with an uncanny ear for a beautiful melody.
He is the host of the Bluegrass Hour which airs every Monday at 4pm (2:30pm EST). On his program, you will hear a delightful mix of Bluegrass, Country and Folk Music from a host of fascinating artists. His vast knowledge of music past and present can be heard in his thoughtful song selections and his weekly quote will engage your mind and warm your heart.
