Mick Davis is a Canadian singer-songwriter & founder of the internationally acclaimed rock group, The Novaks. A near thirty-year veteran of performing, record-making & touring, Mick’s music trek boasts of alliances with Steve Van Zandt & opening dates with KISS, The White Stripes & The Psychedelic Furs. As a guest musician, Mick has performed on stage with Big Sugar, Sloan & The John Prine Band.
Mick is the recipient of numerous MusicNL & ECMA awards. In 2025, Mick earned MusicNL’s prestigious Ron Hynes Songwriter of the Year Award & a SOCAN No. 1 Song Award for his composition “Vibrations”. He lives in St. John’s, NL.
Davis is the host of Mick Till Midnight airing every second Monday at 10PM Newfoundland time. With the philosophy, “a good song is a good song“, Mick’s aim is to keep music integrated, blending all genres, with the promise of the best in rock, soul, country, and blues.
